Documenting version




When checking in a report Code Search Pro will show a dialog to allow you to insert notes and attach documents. The purpose of this dialog is to document the reasons for the change. It is not necessary to explain what was done since the actual changes will be detected by the software. You can insert a note describing the reason for the change. For example you can set the subject to "Fix a bug" and add some explanations to the description. You can drag-drop or select files to attach to the note. For example you can drag from Outlook  the email from the person who requested the change and add some additional files, like notes from meeting , mock ups etc. Later you will be able to find the differences between the versions, who requested the changes and what was the exact request. You will be able also to search by subject and find all changes related to bug fixes, new development etc.
